Description
Simpson Strong-Tie connectors make projects easier to build while making them stronger and safer. They are engineered and tested to perform and are manufactured to the highest quality standards. The DPT7Z deck post tie is used to attach 4x4 vertical posts to the side of stringers, rims or other wood members.
- Connects a 4x4 post to the outside of stair stringers and rim joists on decks or stairs in new or retrofit construction

- ZMAX® galvanization offers extra corrosion resistance for exterior and treated-wood applications
- Typically installed in pairs
- Install with 3/8 inch diameter machine bolts and 10d x 1-1/2 inch nails or #9 x 1-1/2 inch Strong-Drive® SD screws
