Secure a wood column to concrete with a Simpson Strong-Tie adjustable post base. This brace stabilizes the posts of top-supported outdoor features like pergolas. A zinc-plated steel composition combines durability with resistance to corrosion. A 1 in stand protects wood ends from rot. The steel post base measures 3 in L x 3 9/16 W x 7 in H.
Install with the Outdoor Accents hex-head washer (STN22) and structural wood screw (SDWS22312DBB), sold separately.
Outdoor Accents side plates available (see APBDSP).
ZMAX galvanization with a black powder coat offers extra corrosion resistance for exterior and treated-wood applications.
Steel gauge: base 16-gauge, straps 12-gauge.
Designed to meet stringent building codes for seismic or high-wind events.
Slotted for adjustability.
Features 1-in standoff to help prevent rot at post end.
