Use the Simpson Strong-Tie adjustable post base to secure column or post to concrete. It features a one-inch standoff that protects the post end from rot. With its ZMAX galvanization powder coat, the wood to concrete post base offers corrosion resistance. It also has a black finish that gives projects a nice look.
Install with Outdoor Accents structural screws (SDWSDBB) and STN22 hex-head washers (sold separately).
Designed to meet stringent building codes for seismic or high-wind events.
Slotted for adjustability.
Features 1-in standoff to help prevent rot at post end.
Nominal post size: 4x4.
Steel gauge: base 14-gauge, straps 12-gauge.
ZMAX galvanization with a black powder coat offers extra corrosion resistance for exterior and treated-wood applications.
